The Philadelphia 76ers are hoping that they get a star with the 17th overall pick. The 76ers are hoping that either Gerald Henderson Jr., the son of Gerald Henderson Sr., who used to play for the Sixers, or Eric Maynor. Maynor would remind many Sixers fans of Allen Iverson, as he can create his own shot. In recent years, the 17th overall pick has yielded these results: Josh Smith (2004-Atlanta), Danny Granger (2005-Indiana), Shawne Williams (2006-Indiana), Sean Williams (2007-New Jersey), and Roy Hibbert (2008-Toronto, traded to Indiana).
