KG guarantees 2010 & 2011 Championships

By Anthony Caruso III

Kevin Garnett has entered into the guessing game. Garnett, who missed the playoffs with a serious knee injury, has guessed the Boston Celtics will return to their glory years sooner than later.

Garnett has already guaranteed that the Celtics will win the 2010 NBA Championship. He also guaranteed that they will win the 2011 NBA Championship, as well. The Celtics haven't won back-to-back titles since 1968 and 1969.

Garnett helped the Celtics to the 2008 Championship. It was the first NBA Championship that he's won in his NBA career. But it was the Celtics first Championship since 1986.

Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen will be apart of the team at least through the summer of 2010. This gives the guarantee a possibility, as long as these three players stay together and the young players until to grow. But the Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic are going to continue to grow, too.

Allen will be a free agent in the summer of 2010. Pierce has a $21 million dollar player option for the 2010-11 season. Garnett is signed for $18.8 million for the 2010-11 season.
