Washington Wizards are hoping that the Big Three stay together

By Anthony Caruso III

Flip Saunders recieved the Washington Wizards head coaching job nearly a month ago. Saunders has been able to complete his assistant coaching staff with Randy Wittman, Wes Unseld, Jr., Sam Cassell, and Don Zierden. Both Wittman and Zierden worked under Saunders previously.

But Saunders and the front office staff still have work to do. The Wizards currently have the 5th overall pick in this year's NBA draft later this month. The Wizards are already rumored to be trading this pick. One potential rumor has Antwan Jamison, the 5th overall pick, and another player going to the Phoenix Suns for Amare Stoudemire.

While Jamison is being rumored in deals, the Big 3 of Gilbert Arenas, Jamison, and Caron Butler is still currently on the roster. Arenas only played in 2 games last season. Jamison only missed 1 game last season. While Butler missed 15 games last season.

If they stay together, Washington is hoping that the three stars are healthy all of next season. If they are, they have a good chance at going far in the playoffs.
